Curry Lebron Durant~USA

The 2024 Olympics Basketball semi-final game between USA and Serbia was an Olympic game for the ages. You had a dominant Eastern European team mightily handling an all-star stacked United State team for three quarters of semi-finals basketball. Anyone watching can say this about the Serbian team; they came to win and played like they would.

But you know, there's this little guy from the San Francisco Bay Area team who has changed the game of basketball with his shooting and has a way of showing up and showing out when the chips are down. When his team needs a boost through bad weather, like Karl "The Mailman" Malone, he delivers.

"neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." USPS Creed

Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, a four-time NBA Champion, helped keep his team in the game early. And then, along with Lebron James and Kevin Durant, led the USA to a great late comeback victory.

Sure, other USA all-stars contributed (Joel Embiid 19pts, Devin Booker 6pts), but with Serbia protecting a comfortable lead throughout most of the game, coach Steve Kerr felt he needed to go with a sure thing down the stretch. The future Hall of Fame coach went with proven clutch players, and the world saw thrilling Olympic History unfold right before their collective eyes.

clutch: adjective (in sport) denoting or occurring in a critical situation in which the outcome of a game or competition is at stake.

UPDATE:

Steph tucks France into their beds, while skipping away with the Gold Medal! It was almost unfair, and definitely unreal, to watch the 4th quarter Grinch steal Christmas away from the tournament host.
