It was so uplifting to see Silver & Black uniforms in action on the gridiron for the first time in 2021, even if it was just an exhibition game. As much as I love baseball and enjoy basketball, there is just something special about witnessing the Raiders armored up and doing battle against any opponent.
Add to that the first gameday experience for Raider Nation in their new state-of-the-art stadium, and you could call Saturday's 20-7 win over the visiting Seattle Seahawks a victorious coming-out celebration for the newly Reborn Raider Nation.

The Autumn Wind is a pirate
Blustering in from sea,
With a rollicking song, She sweeps along,
Swaggering boisterously.
Her face is weather resisting.
She wears no hooded sash,
With a silver tat upon her face,
And a whistling breastplate stash
She growls as she storms the country,
A villain big and bold.
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake,
As She robs them of their gold.
The Autumn Wind is a raider,
Pillaging just for fun.
She'll knock you 'round and upside down,
And laugh when She's conquered and won.
