Ageless Raider Legend George Blanda Passes

There hasn't been one like him before nor since. George Blanda was a Raider. He played Pro football from 1949-1975, his last nine years with the Oakland Raiders. He was a placekicker as well as a quarterback. He had a memorable season in 1970 when he quarterbacked the Raiders to five straight comeback victories. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in 1981, his first year of elgibility.
Blanda - rough rugged and rare.
