Cinco De Mayo - Buddy Hield Day in the Bay

Yes! Yes! Yes!

The Golden State Warriors, featuring a stifling defense and Buddy Hield offensive output (33pts.), put the Rockets playoff series to bed in Houston. After blowing a 3-1 series lead, the Warriors came into game 7 in Houston with all sorts of questions surrounding their gameplan against a resurgent young team. How were they going to handle the Rockets zone defense with big men Steven Adams, Alperen Sengun, and Jabari Smith. How were they going to slow down the long-range sharpshooting of veteran Fred VanVleet. And who of the Warriors secondary players would step up to deliver much-needed offensive assistance to Curry (Batman) and Butler (Robin).

Yes! Yes! Yes!

It would be Buddy Hield (Alfred), who donned the Warriors superhero cape while knocking down lethal shots. The Houston Rockets had no answer for Alfred's  . . .  . . .  I mean Buddy's long-range barrage of ballistic missiles consistently hitting their mark. The home team put up a gallant effort, coming back to within three points. But Buddy and company thwarted all would-be comebacks with a show of dominance, leaving no doubt in the minds of onlookers as to which team packed more devastating weaponry in their utility belt.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Congratulations to Buddy Hield and the Golden State Warriors on their first-round playoff series victory. Houston, you no longer have a problem!

Final Score (Game 7) Warriors win series 4-3
Warriors 103
Rockets 89
