Last Republican Standing is A WOMAN

Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney gave a patriotic bi-partisan speech today, reminding Americans of the serious threat a trumpist-backed party poses to American Democracy. On the eve of a GOP vote to remove Liz from her leadership position, replacing her with a representative willing to parrot trump lies and alternative facts,  Liz courageously 'laid the rat on the table' by telling the truth about her party's blind allegiance to a liar and his "Big Lie." Liz stated:

"We must speak the truth. Our election was not stolen. And America has not failed," Cheney said.
"Every one of us who has sworn the oath must act to prevent the unraveling of our democracy. This is not about policy. This is not about partisanship. This is about our duty as Americans. Remaining silent and ignoring the lie emboldens the liar," Cheney said. "I will not sit back and watch in silence while others lead our party down a path that abandons the rule of law and joins the former President's crusade to undermine our democracy."

What chairwoman Liz Cheney told Americans is she will stand and fight for a democracy we've come to know and love. She refuses to sit silent and watch her party join a crusade to undermine American democracy by emboldening a liar.

Americans should never forget it was Republicans like Liz Cheney who laid the foundation for a lying, cheating, unprincipled, pussy-grabbing politician to rise to the highest U.S. governing office of the land. But now is not the time for blame, but truth.

The hope is Liz will likely remain an active republican, which means she'll continue the fight within for the party's return to conservative normalcy. She just might be the last member to resist party death.

"Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night"

Republicans will need strong leadership like Liz's in order to continue speaking truth to disillusioned colleagues, perhaps pulling them back from the ledge of doom. Good Luck Liz!

“When good men will not step forward, evil will abound.” (Bible)

I support and admire Liz Cheney’s courage to stand for truth, our nation and Constitution.

If we do not do the same, we will show cowardice in the face of evil.
