Profit Shifting & IRS Audits
If ever the Internal Revenue Service comes a knockin' at your door, just tell'em to go cleanup their own act and pick on someone their own size. Such are the stories making the national headlines these days. We knew about the big, greedy corporate machines skirting laws and cheating our country out of badly needed tax dollars, but hearing that the IRS was targeting specific political organizations for audit is a sure sign of the chickens coming home to roost.
When their is no longer an honor amongst thieves its just a matter of time before they turn on one another, exposing the whole shebang!

C WOOD Coming back to Oaktown? Itz Happenin!
I don't know about this one. Pro Bowl cornerback Charles Woodson returning to my beloved Raiders isn't such a bad thing, but at a whopping $4.3 million if true, is straight out highway robbery. The top 10 highest paid cornerbacks of 2012 averaged around $8 million in base salary, but that was with multi-year contracts. C Wood has signed on for 1-year.
And get this; of the 10 highest paid corners only three are over 30, with the Legendary Champ (Champ Bailey) oldest at 34. Woodson is no Champ, and he's 36 years old.
I don't know, other than allowing fans to breakout their old #24 jersey's, this deal smells like a bust. Without trying to jinx the cornerback, I wonder if Greenbay letting him go might've been more a sign of damaged goods than salary cap space. Keep an eye out for injuries sidelining the Pro Bowl corner for some if not the majority of the season. Thumbs down on this deal.

Boxing
Anyone Pay to View Money Mayweather jab and run, jab and run to win his title bout against Robert "the ghost" Guerrero tonight?
Was it worth it?
Thought Not!
Update: Apologies to Money May. After seeing the fight twice, I will never listen to haters again when it comes to Champion Floyd Mayweather. Money out-boxed and out-classed Guerrero in taking a unanimous 12 round decision.
The champion put on a boxing clinic, not running but getting right up in the ghost's grill, landing a shot, then slipping and sliding with grace. You saw Money figure out the puzzle and proceed to dismantle the ghost. Money knew what his opponent was going to do before the opponent knew.
I saw Floyd dip, land a punch and side-step all in one breath just as Guerrero was about to throw a punch.
Money's defense and footwork were amazingly sharp. Guerrero couldn't hurt Money and definitely showed respect for the champ's power. Floyd Mayweather is one of the smartest boxer's in the ring today. Money with speed, confidence and ring experience showed the boxing world that he is still a champion to be feared. Again, my apologies money for talking before seeing.
The Ghost admitted that Money was a little better than he thought. He simply didn't have a ghost of a chance of beating Money; not on this night.

Champions Treated Like Chumps
San Francisco Giants beat rival Dodgers on a walk-off by a third string catcher and there's no talk of it on ESPN? Come'on Man! Where is the love?
You'd think the Giants weren't defending Champions or something. I'm not crying foul, I'm just curious as hell as to why the national media won't headline with the mighty feats of a defending champion. Is it just me or are the Giants just not that thrilling to the rest of the country? I just don't get it. Jealousy perhaps for winning the last two of three World Series? Could be a conspiracy, I don't know. What I do know is that the Giants have beaten the high-priced, media picked to win the NL West fodgers two nights in a row on walk off home runs by catchers and all I see headlining baseball news is L.A. mistakes and injuries.
That's okay. We no need no stinkin' media to tell us how great we are. We're Giants. We play great baseball during the season and shut the mouths of media analysts come the postseason. And best of all, we're flying the Major League Championship flag in our beautiful ballpark by the bay as they speak. So go on ESPN, act like you don't see black and orange as a heavyweight contender. When the fall classic roles around, you'll have plenty of homework and catching up to do. Because the San Francisco Giants are gonna rain on your pick parade once again.
Final Score
